Admission information and general criteria for the School of Engineering (and thus Mechanical Engineering)

For both domestic and international students. That site provides minimum specific standards (e.g., GPA, graduating rank, and ACT) for first year students applying to SoE.

For additional requirements and forms. Credit earned at non-US institutions is evaluated by the International Student Office.

College credit for secondary level courses, whether from U.S. or international institutions, will not be placed on the official transcript unless that credit was earned through one of the three programs offered/accepted by KU: (1) the College Entrance Examination Board's Advanced Placement test, (2) KU's credit-by-examination program, or (3) the College Level Examination Program.
