This page provides current Mechanical Engineering curricular forms and information, especially to help students prepare for advising and enrollment for upcoming semesters. In addition, links to supplementary information (like course schedules) can help in enrollment planning. All students should check out the design project information, and starting thinking and planning for the senior design option of their choice. Many design projects accept volunteers as early as freshman year!
Electives
Note that ME's KU Core is limited for: AE5.1 to: PHIL 160, PHIL 161, PHIL 180, and CE 501; GE3S to: ECON 104
Note that ME's Core 34 is limited for: AH to: PHIL 160 and PHIL 161; SBS to: ECON 104, 142, 143, 144, and 145
Additional Information
To graduate with a BS-ME degree, students must fulfill all of the degree requirements as listed in the School of Engineering Catalog.
Pay attention to when courses are typically offered. There are courses in the Junior and Senior year of the ME curriculum that have limited offerings:
Fall Only: ME 307, ME 508, ME 627, ME 633, and ME 682
Spring Only: EECS 316/318, ME 642, ME 661 (also taught in Summer)
